POP and Pee
Season 1 Episode 20
In today's episode, pelvic floor and women's health expert Dr. Marcy Crouch and motherhood wellness expert Alyson Hempsey are talking about Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) and Pee (something we all can't seem to stop doing after we've given birth). Marcy gives some tips on leaking urine and managing prolapse, and Alyson reminds us that every physical aspect of our bodies directly affects our mental health and well-being, too! There are three functions of the pelvic floor: continence, support, and sexual. Marcy gives a great explanation about how the pelvic floor is impacted both during pregnancy and after birth, and offers tips on how you can strengthen your pelvic floor at home.
